Legal Administrative Assistant (Estate Planning & Probate), Full-Time

The Legal Administrative Assistants assist the Estate Planning and Probate departments by preparing legal document drafts, maintaining files, composing and drafting correspondence, and providing excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.

Successful candidates must have a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and accurate keyboarding and word processing ability. The ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently is essential.

Knowledge and experience with creating and proofreading legal documents, and understanding of legal terminology are not required, but valuable.

$21.80+/hour DOE

File Clerk, Full-Time

The File Clerk will scan, process, and archive both physical and digital documents, as well as index, review, and provide document maintenance including occasional destruction of eligible physical files. This position will also serve as backup to reception, assist with mail processing, and perform a variety of other administrative tasks. Successful candidates will have a high level of attention to detail, accurate keyboarding skills, knowledge of word processing, understanding of office procedures and processes, the ability to professionally communicate in written and verbal form, work as a team member, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with legal documents and terminology is preferred, but not required.

Hourly rate starting at $15.00+ depending on experience.

Associate Attorneys (multiple practice areas), Full-Time

The Associate Attorneys will fill available positions within the firm’s following practice groups: Litigation, Estate Planning, Real Estate, Probate Litigation, and Corporate.

Associate Attorneys have the opportunity to learn under the region’s top attorneys while completing meaningful, challenging, and cutting-edge legal work.

We hire associates carefully, with the expectation that those selected will eventually become shareholders and spend their careers at Ohnstad Twichell. Associate Attorneys are expected to be self-motivated, hard-working professionals capable of handling a diverse set of projects and will enjoy the benefit of significant flexibility in their work.

Ohnstad Twichell will consider candidates with experience looking to start immediately as well as expected graduates, for a start date as late as the fall of 2024, depending upon the circumstances of the selected candidate.
