Ohnstad Twichell would like to announce that two associate attorneys have been promoted to shareholder as of January 1, 2021.
Keven J. Kercher, UND School of Law graduate, has been practicing at Ohnstad Twichell since December 2014. He concentrates his practice on providing effective, in-depth, and relational legal advice to his clients in the areas: Estate Planning, Estate Administration/Probate, Real Estate, Business Law, and Elder Law.
Kercher holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri – Rolla. He is also a graduate of the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, holding a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. While serving in the United States Army, Kercher achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before his retirement. During his service, he served as both a combat engineer and a Judge Advocate General.
Tyler J. Leverington, Marquette University School of Law graduate, joined the team in October of 2015. Leverington focuses his practice on business litigation, intellectual property, corporate transactions, and real estate law. He regularly advises business and their officers, directors, and shareholders in complex transactions, as well as disputes over corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
Leverington holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Dakota. He served as a summer associate for Vogel Law Firm, was a Head Researcher for Dean and Professor Joseph Kearney at Marquette, and was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Annette Ziegler, Wisconsin Supreme Court.
